Glass Studios
The first thing I will tell you is I am 35 and plus size. Now for these reasons I thought it was never going to be a possible full time job. Then I had spoke to a few people in the industry and decided to just give it a go!
As you can imagine my emotions were everywhere when I arrived. As soon as I came into the studio I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception. I wasn’t left waiting around long.
Their amazing stylist first saw me. He did my hair, makeup – some of the looks were very out of my comfort zone but I trusted the process 100%. During the shoot the photographer explained everything to me. She reassured me that if I didn’t feel in anyway comfortable to just let him know. The posing was a challenge however I did seem to relax as time went on.
How were the pictures?
When the shoot came to an end and it was time to view my shots. I admit I was very nervous. However all I have to say is I was AMAZED with what Glass Studios had accomplished!! They said it was all me however you need to have a good standard of both the photographer’s ability and the creativity you both have.
I just couldn’t believe the girl in the photos was me! The lighting was spot to help perfect my flaws and the angles that the pictures had been taken on had caught my best features. Thank you so much for today to all of the team you have really made me feel the most beautiful I have done in such a long time!
You have given me such a confidence boost and a different perspective on size and that anyone can look beautiful regardless of being plus size or not. Couldn’t fault them at all, what a lovely team and the studio was perfect, they even had really good music!
