When I first went along to The British Model Alliance modelling test shoot day, it was truly an amazing and completely new experience.
As I was new to the whole field, I really didn’t have any idea about what it was all about. I didn’t know what was going to be involved.
I was really pleased because even before I attended the assessment day, emails full with information were sent over to me. They explained what the whole day was going to be about and how I could best prepare myself. This was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I was very nervous about trying this new experience.
As soon as my mum and me arrived at the studio, Carl greeted us. He was lovely and welcoming explained everything in detail to my mum and I. This gave us lots of sight into what the different types of modelling categories there are. He also answered all our questions – this really helped with my nerves.
The Glass studios team
The glass studios team were all very kind and helpful, making it a positive friendly environment to be in.
I met a variety off different people on the day. Emily was my stylist; the Photographer was called Bella and of course the makeup and hair stylists as well! They all made sure to put me at ease (they new it was my first ever time in-front of the camera) and I’m so Grateful for this. I honestly couldn’t believe that it was me in the pictures! It was so professional; they brought out a whole different side of me that I didn’t know I was capable of. The British Model Alliance team has helped me me take a huge step towards my future.
If you’re looking to start modelling, I would 100% Recommend going through BMA, especially if like me you are looking fro support and guidance.
